Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso was left thrilled with his debut La Liga goal for Las Palmas in their 4-0 mauling of Espanyol.
The 25-year-old completed the scoring with a fine volley into the top corner after a ramshackle Espanyol failed to deal with a corner.
And the Ghanaian international has expressed his delight at scoring on his return from injury.
“I am happy for my first goal in the League. We are happy because we are working on this for the past month, winning at home and outside,” he said
“It was a nice day for us. The objective is to win all the games remaining. Missing three and we will work as we are doing so far.
“I am very happy for the team and my goal, which I dedicated to Araujo,” said the Ghanaian forward.
