Golden Kicks SC secured a spot in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup final by defeating Attram De Visser SC 3-1 in their semi-final match, booking their place in a first final in the process.
The Tema-based club dominated the game, taking an early lead through an error by De Visser’s goalkeeper Dawuud Ishaque.
Midfielder David Amuzu doubled the lead before halftime, and Golden Kick added a third after the break.
Attram De Visser managed to pull one back through Precious Yaw Gyimah, but it was too little, too late.
Golden Kicks’ impressive run in the competition saw them knock out several Ghana Premier League sides, including Hearts of Oak, en route to the semi-finals.
They will now await the winner of the Asante Kotoko-Berekum Chelsea match, scheduled for Sunday, to determine their opponent in the final.
The MTN FA Cup final is set to take place on June 15 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
