The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the 2025/26 FA Cup calendar, with Asante Kotoko set to kick start their title defence in October after beating Golden Kick 2-1 to win the last edition
The tournament is expected to start on October 24, 2025, and conclude on May 30 or 31, 2026. The schedule was carefully planned to ensure all domestic competitions are completed before the 2026 FIFA World Cup starts on June 11, 2026.
Most FA Cup matches will be played on weekends, with a few midweek fixtures in the early rounds. The Women’s FA Cup will exclusively feature weekend matches. The GFA aims to deliver a well-organized and exciting cup season, maintaining the integrity and competitiveness of Ghana’s football.
