Former Kotoko Chief Executive Officer Nana Yaw Amponsah has been appointed as the president of FC Petrocub Hîncesti.
This was after the Moldova top flight club signed a partnership with an unnamed company that included not only potential financial benefits but also brings in the promising football administrator into its leadership.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah was appointed as the new president of FC Petrocub. This alliance holds the promise of transformative developments for the club, marking a notable chapter in its history.
FC Petrocub released a statement on its social media accounts, announcing Nana Yaw Amponsah as its new President.
“FC Petrocub signed a partnership agreement with an investment company from abroad. According to the agreement, Nana Yaw Amponsah becomes the president of the team.”
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s marriage with Asante Kotoko ended last year after joining them in 2020.
He won one Ghana Premier League title for the Porcupine warriors when he was in office.
