AS Monaco’s defender, Mohammed Salisu, is back in training following a grueling period of injury layoff.
The 24-year-old had encountered a significant setback, undergoing pubalgia surgery which kept him out for several weeks including Ghana’s international friendlies against Mexico and United States of America during this month’s international break.
The centre-back has now resumed training and expected to feature in the coming days for Monaco.
Salisu joined the French side last summer, signing a five-year-deal from Southampton.
Monaco face Metz in Ligue 1, hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table.
