Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu has joined his teammates for training ahead of French Ligue clash between AS Monaco against Brest after months of layoff.
The 24 year old has been battling injury since joining the French giants in the summer transfer window from English side Southampton.
He sustained a pubalgia (groin) injury since March, forcing the player to undergo surgery in September.
But the center-back has returned and likely to feature this weekend.
It also serves as a huge boost for the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers later this month.
Salisu has not played for the Black Stars since starring at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
