Defender Mohammed Salisu has finally made his debut for Ghana against Brazil since availing himself to represent the country in July.
The 23-year-old emerged from the bench in the opening of the second half to replace striker Felix Afena-Gyan.
He is expected to shore up the defense as Ghana trail 3-0 at the Stade de Oceane Le Havre in France.
Salisu partners Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey at the heart of defense as they seek to keep a second half clean sheet.
Ghana will subsequently face Nicaragua on September 27 in the international friendly.
