West Ham and Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus was pictured in his club’s official shoot for the unveiling of the team’s home kit ahead of the 2024/25 English Premier League season.
The inspiration behind the team’s home kit is to celebrate an iconic moment in the history of the club, remembering 60 years since the East London club first won the Europeans Cup winners Cup.
The jersey’s significance is also to pay homage to the 60’s, where West Ham were a force to reckon with domestically and continentally, with players such as Geoff Hurst, Bobby Moore and Martin Peters, ripping teams into shreds.
Kudus will hope the historical antecedent behind the jersey reinvigorate’s him to continue his splendid output in London next season.
