Mohammed Kudus is in a state of shock following the tragic death of Ghanaian international Christian Atsu.
Atsu was confirmed dead by his agent in the early hours of Saturday morning following a devastating earthquake in Turkey two weeks ago.
The 31 year old is among over 40,000 victims across southern Turkey and northern Syria following the two initial earthquakes and the aftershocks.
The former Chelsea and Newcastle star was capped 65 for Black Stars between 2012 and 2019, including the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was named player of the tournament.
The news of Atsu’s passing has been met with an outpouring of sadness and grief on social media including the Ajax midfielder.
