Mohammed Kudus has been honored with a commemorative gold medal for his stellar performances at the 2022 World Cup.

The 22 year old was the standout player for the Black Stars despite their early exit at the global showpiece.

Ghana beat South Korea in between defeats to Portugal and Uruguay to finish bottom of Group H.

Kudus scored two goals, provided an assist and bagged one man of the match award in three games.

The Ajax star was honored by the Western Regional minister Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah at a special ceremony which was attended by Black Stars teammates Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ernest Nuamah.

He becomes the youngest recipient of the Commemorative gold coin.
