Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus has arrived in the country to join the Black Stars team for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
His belated arrival was as a result of a minor injury sustained at West Ham.
Kudus is expected to miss Ghana’s friendly against Namibia on January 8th at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday.
But the forward is in contention to feature for the nation at the Afcon.
The Black Stars are in Group B with record-winners Egypt, Mozambique, and Cape Verde.
The 2023 AFCON tournament is set to commence on Saturday, January 13, and will run through February 11, 2024.
