Ghana forward Mohammed Fuseini says he is relishing his role as a centre-forward following a standout season with Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian top flight.
The 23-year-old scored 11 goals and registered three assists last season, playing mainly in a two-man strike partnership.
His performances earned him a call-up to Otto Addo’s Black Stars squad for the 2025 Unity Cup, where he scored in Ghana’s win over Trinidad and Tobago.
Speaking to JoySports, Fuseini said: “I am a dynamic player; I can play as a striker and also on the wings. But right now, I enjoy playing more as a striker because you get to score more goals.”
He added that while he is open to playing in any position, he always gives 100% for the team.
Fuseini is back in pre-season with Union SG and will be aiming to maintain his form ahead of Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers in September.
