The forward struck in the 44th minute to give the visitors all three points at the Duns Park.
Samuel Atta Kumi attempted to find the equalizer, but Karela’s defence remained solid and well-organized.
The win lifts The Pride and Passion to 15th place on the league table with 35 points, as they continue their battle to avoid relegation.
Gold Stars drop to third on the league table with 53 points.
Karela United will host Medeama SC next at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, while Gold Stars’ upcoming match is against Asante Kotoko following the withdrawal of Nsoatreman FC from the competition.
