Mohammed Alhassan could make his Asante Kotoko debut on Saturday when the Porcupine Warriors face Nsoatreman on Matchweek 18 of the betPawa Premier League.
The centre-back joined the Kumasi-based giants on a free transfer earlier this month after ending his stay with eternal rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.
The 30 year old took part in his first training sessions this week and is line to make the squad for the trip to Bono.
He watched from the stands as his new team lost to Dreams FC last weekend.
Mo Alhassan’s availability is expected to provide an instant upgrade to Kotoko’s rear-guard.
