Mixed feelings on social media as Hearts of Oak fans react to Samuel Boadu sacking

Hearts of Oak fans have reacted to the sacking of Samuel Boadu just three weeks into the 2022/23 campaign.

The 36 year old tactician and his back room staff including assistant coach Hama Obeng, goalkeepers coach Eric Amponsah were shown the exit door following the team’s slow start to the season.

Coach of the U20 Samuel Nii Noi has been named as the interim manager until a substantive head coach is appointed by the club.

He will be assisted by Benjamin Mensah, the Phobians said in a statement on Tuesday.

The news was met with mixed reactions as club’s supporters stormed the internet to express their opinion.

Boadu arrived at the club on a three-and-a-half year deal in March 2021 following the exit of Serbian Kosta Papic.

He guided Hearts to the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League title and also won back-to-back MTN FA Cups, Super Cup and the 2021 President’s Cup.
