‘Mission completed’- Stephen Appiah reacts as Lionel Messi leads Argentina to World Cup glory 

Ghana legend Stephen Appiah has reacted to Argentina’s historic victory at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The South Americans defeated defending champions France on penalties after a pulsating 120 minutes of football in the finals at the Lusail stadium on Sunday.

The match ended in a 3-3 stalemate with Lionel Messi scoring a brace while Kylian Mbappe scored a hattrick for France.

However, Emi Martinez was the hero for Argentina as he saved two penalties to help the South Americans to victory.
