The Serbian was banned for one match at the tournament in the Ivory Coast which consigned him to the stands in the final Group A clash against DR Congo.
The ban rather proved to be a blessing as with the help of the mobile phone he communicated with assistant Kwasi Appiah on tactics while the game was in progress.

“Sitting in the stands gives you the perfect view and concentration that the bench wouldn’t give,” Rajevac told KickOffGhana.com.
