Arsenal is set to hand manager Mikel Arteta a new deal following the good work he has done with the club.
According to the Sun, the Spaniard will be handed a pay rise of £8.3million-a-year deal this summer with the manager having 16 months left on his current deal.
The report states that the club owner Stan Kroenke wants to hand Arteta a new three-year deal which will be worth £25m for the Premier League’s youngest boss.
Rio Ferdinand on #Arsenal: “Mikel Arteta is creating an environment that I feel players are going to want to play in. I think this window is going to be big for them, they’ve got to get it right, it depends where they finish & what type of player they’re going to have to go for” pic.twitter.com/KlitJNiklW

Arteta’s current salary is £5m a year and Kroenke wants him to earn something close to his mentor Pep Guardiola who is on £20m a year at the Etihad.
New Spurs boss Antonio Conte and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp are both paid around £15m per year and even Leicester’s Brendan Rodgers currently pockets around double Arteta’s annual salary.
