Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is hoping to replicate his superb performance from the international break for Anderlecht in the Jupiler Pro League.

Ashimeru gained plaudits, including from former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan for impressing, having replaced Edmund Addo in the 71st minute at the 11 De Novembro Stadium in Luanda.

The 2023 AFCON qualifier ended 1-1 after Osman Bukari scores to cancel out Lucas’ opener from the spot.

The 25-year-old played no role in the first leg as Ghana beat Angola 1-0 in Kumasi.

Majeed, who returned to training after the international break, is expected to feature for Anderlecht against KAS Eupen on Sunday.

The 25-year-old midfielder has featured 31 times across all competitions and scoring two goals and provided four assists.
