Midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah undergoes successful meniscus repair surgery in Serbia

Ghana Premier League side, Accra Lions have confirmed that midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah has successfully undergone meniscus repair surgery in Serbia.

The Accra-based club recently travelled with the young player to Serbia to address his injury.

Dzigbah had been a key player for the c participating in 15 games so far this season.

“Our midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah successfully underwent a meniscus repair surgery in the Serbian capital Belgrade. Accra Lions chairman Oliver Koenig commented: “As a club, we are responsible for providing our players with the best possible medical care. In Emmanuel’s case, we were advised by our Ghanaian doctors to seek treatment abroad due to the complexity of the injury. We are very pleased that the surgery went well and that we will see him back on the pitch very soon.” said the club,

The club also expressed their best wishes for Dzigbah’s swift recovery in a post on their social media: “We wish Emmanuel a speedy recovery!”
