West African Football academy trio Derrick Mensah Antwi, Michael Zuo and Emmanuel Intori have departed Ghana for a trial at FC Basel in Switzerland.
The three players jetted off on Saturday to the to have their try-out at the club based in the Canton of Basel-Stadt.
Intori is a winger while Zuo is a midfielder. Derrick plays as a centre-back.
They are expected to earn permanent deals if they impress the technical team at the end of the exercise.
The three players stood out among their peers in the WAFA team, albeit they were unable to prevent the club from getting relegated to the Division One League football.
