Michael Baidoo scores twice for Elfsborg against FC Copenhagen

In a thrilling Sunday evening clash the Swedish Atlantic Cup, Michael Baidoo showcased his attacking skills as he scored in Elfsborg’s 4-5 defeat to FC Copenhagen. 

The match witnessed intense action and drama, with Baidoo’s standout performance adding to the excitement on the pitch.

Baidoo’s contribution highlighted his prowess as a player and left fans eagerly anticipating more stellar displays in the future.

In the third minute, FC Copenhagen took the lead. A low shot from just outside the penalty area took a slight touch on the way to the goal, and found its way to Diogo Goncalves who hit the ball into the net to make it 1-0.

In the 20th minute after an error in the Elfsborg defense. It gave a free shot space from a left inside position in the penalty area and Mohamed Elyounoussi placed the ball low at the first post.

Timothy Ouma looked up and hit a fine cross in the 29th minute, which was met by Michael Baidoo to make it 2-1.

Mohamed Elyounoussi scored twice in the 36th and 90+3. Viktor Claesson scored the 4th goal to give FC Copenhagen the victory.

Baidoo scored his second goal in the 50th minute, a Kevin Diks own goal made it 4-3 and Jalal Abdulai scored in the 85th minute for Elfsborg.
