New Hearts of Oak signing Michael Awuah Mensah has revealed why he opted joined the Rainbow club despite initial interest from rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Speaking in an interview with Peace FM, the highly sort-after defender shed light on the race between the two biggest clubs in the Ghanaian top-flight for his signature.

“The feeling you know as a player you have ended the season a club like Kotoko, Hearts are interested in you as a player you will know that it is due to your performance,” he said.
