Medeama Sporting Club are set to unveiled their new stadium in November for their participation in the CAF Champions League in 2023/24.
Tarkwa TNA Park The Ghana champions qualified for the group round of the competition after defeating Guinean side Horoya in two games last month, winning 4-3 on aggregate.
The Mauves and yellow lads used the Cape Coast Stadium as their home ground to make way for the expansion works at the TNA Park.
Speaking to the press on Monday, Tarkwa Nsuaem’s Member of Parliament George Mireku Duker says the team plans to inaugurate the 10,000-seater stadium by the end of November.
“We will be commissioning our stadium also by November ending and we are using this platform to invite you to Tarkwa,” he said.
“By the grace of God, we shall play our first match of the group stage in Tarkwa.”
Medeama SC are in pot 4 for the group stage draw of the CAF Champions League, slated for Friday.
