Technical Director of Medeama SC, Evans Adottey is hopeful his side will be able to kick out South Africa champions Mamelodi Sundowns from the Confederation Cup when the two sides clash on Wednesday.
The Tarkwa-based side will be hosting the Brazilians on Wednesday in the second leg of the Caf Confederation Cup at the Essipong Sports Stadium.
Medeama suffered a 3-1 humiliation at the hand s of the visitors in the first leg played in South Africa.
The Ghanaian side had their head coach abandoning the team after the first leg in South Africa.
But the technical director insists Sundowns will fall on Wednesday.
“The morale in camp is huge. The players are set for the challenge and I can assure you we will kick them out,” Adottey told Asempa FM.
“In the first leg, we lost concentration and conceded those late goals. Sundowns were not better than us just that we lost concentration.
“We’ll make sure we avoid conceding any goal while we take them on by the blast of the whistle. We will kick them out,” he added.
