Medeama SC defender Vincent Atinga has declared his side’s readiness for Hearts of Oak in the Betpawa Premier League.
The Phobians travel to Tarkwa to face Medeama in a crunch tie on Saturday, 28th January 2022 at 3:00 pm.
Atinga, who played for Hearts of Oak between 2015 and 2017, is prepared to overcome the pressure that comes with facing his former club.
“As a footballer, definitely there will be pressure but you need to absorb it because that is your work,” Atinga said on Medeama TV.
“We are well prepared for Hearts of Oak. We know we lost our last game so we need to make amends on Sunday against Hearts. We need to win the game for our supporters in Tarkwa.”
Hearts of Oak are hoping to return to winning ways after drawing their previous two matches.
