Medeama Sporting Club have officially announced the departure of midfielder Gideon Quaison ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
In a statement released on Saturday, August 3, the Tarkwa-based club confirmed that both parties had mutually agreed to terminate their contract.
“Medeama SC and Gideon Quaison have mutually agreed to part ways. We thank Quaison for his service and wish him well,” the club posted on social media.
The 20-year-old was a fringe player during the 2024/25 campaign, making just five appearances and playing fewer than 60 minutes in total as Medeama finished 8th in the league.
With his departure confirmed, Quaison is now a free agent and will be hoping to secure a new club before the start of the upcoming season in September.
