Medeama deputy coach blames ‘bad luck’ for King Faisal draw

Medeama deputy coach blames ‘bad luck’ for King Faisal draw

Medeama assistant coach Tanko Shaibu attributed his team’s inability to pick maximum points against King Faisal to ‘ill luck’.

The Mauves and Yellows were frustrated at home by the Kumasi-based side who put up a superlative defensive display to pick a point at the Tarkwa and Aboso Park.

Medeama assistant coach blames bad luck for their failure to make home advantage count.

“We were not under any pressure. It was due to ill luck that cost us the points,” Shaibu said

“We’ll hope to build on that and move on.”

Medeama are second on the table with 24 points, two adrift of leaders Aduana Stars.

They will next travel to Accra to face Medeama on December 30.
