Wa All Stars winger Maxwell Baakoh has confirmed he is on the verge of joining Belgian second-tier side Cercle Brugge.
He is expected to travel to Belgium this week to seal the deal.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Fox FM, he revealed: “Yes I will be going to Belgium. The club want to see me before I put pen to paper.
“It’s hard work and God that have taken me this far. I will thank my team mates as well.”
Baakoh has been very influential for Wa All Stars this season.
His exploits have helped the Northern Blues to clinch top spot in the Ghana Premier League.
