Maxwell Agyemang praises Kotoko supporters after victory in rain-soaked game

Asante Kotoko defender Maxwell Agyemang dedicated his team’s win against Aduana Stars to the loyal supporters of the club.

The Porcupine Warriors came from behind to beat the Ogya boys 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.

Isaac Mintah found the opening goal in the 28th minute to give the visitors the lead.

Asante Kotoko snatched the equalizer through Steven Mukwala in the 38th minute as he smartly beat Joseph Addo for the leveler.

Eric Zeze’s brilliant 48th minute strike proved to be the winner as the defending champions held on to claim a vital three points in the title race.

After the game, the defender took to his Facebook page to post:

“I’m more excited about the victory, but in all what surprise me most is how our supporters were able to stand on their feet through the rain to cheers us to victory!. What I saw today is a motivation for me to keep on fighting harder!. I think we have the best supporters in the world. Victory Dedicated to the supporters, they were the magic today. It’s still chaseable”
