Match Report: Hasaacas 3-1 WAFA – Doo-Boys uprising jostle determined youngsters

Sekondi Hasaacas showed great resilience to collect all three points as they fought from behind to defeat exciting WAFA 3-1 in the Ghana Premier League at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Zakari Mumuni had scored first for the visitors but the host staged a strong performance to snatch victory.

Ibrahim Suleman and Daniel Agyri, from the spot, had given Yussif Basigi’s men a first-half lead but renowned goal-poacher Frederick Quayson grabbed the third to cement the results for Hasaacas.

WAFA had not tasted defeat in their last eight games and were seeking to extend their run against Hasaacas but loss of concentration in the second-half cost them the match as they slipped to defeat.

For Hasaacas it was a return to winning ways after losing their previous game.
