Ghana’s Black Galaxies on Sunday cruised past Kenpong Academy with a 2-1 win at the end of a friendly exercise.

The team often called local Black Stars or Black Stars B are currently in camp preparing for a clash against their counterpart from Benin in the qualifiers for the next CHAN tournament.

During last week, the Black Galaxies were scheduled to play a friendly match against Kenpong Academy but the game was rescheduled by the Ghana Football Association at the last minute.

With the various arrangements made, the friendly match has finally been played today at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium.

In the friendly exercise, goals from Maxwell Abbey Quaye and Suraj Seidu inspired the Black Galaxies to victory.

However, an equaliser from Akwasi Poku gave Kenpong Academy the consolation goals.

The Black Galaxies are expected to play at least one more friendly before taking on Benin in the CHAN qualifiers.
