Mas-ud Didi Dramani downplays Kotoko pressure

Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramanisays he is not feeling weighed down by the burden of expectation after agreeing to join giants Asante Kotoko.

The former Real Tamale United and Ebusua Dwarfs player will complete his switch to the Kumasi-based side after guiding the Black Maidens at the Fifa Under-17 World Cup later in September.

The Uefa License A holder knows the hope of Kotoko’s  demanding fans would be focused on him.

But he insists he’s untroubled and ready for the challenge.

“I know this is my first major coaching stint with a football club and interestingly it’s not a just any club but  the biggest one in Ghana and so surely the pressure will be there,” Dramani said

“I am going to meet  a team that has being built to a certain level by my predecessor and so when you get such a chance, you either maintain standard or modify it.

“The job comes with pressure. The only difference is that you’re now in a big club.”

He will replace Maxwell Konadu who guided the team to their 21st Premier League title last term.
