Marcel Desailly won’t mind to coach Kenya national team

Ghana-born France legend Marcel Desailly he will consider a proposal to coach Kenya’s national team.

The 1998 World Cup winning defender is in the East African country as an English Premier League ambassador on tour with the EPL trophy.

Desailly, who came close to being appointed Ghana coach in 2010, is available for a coaching job after recently earned his UEFA Pro Licence certificate.

He is disturbed by the failure of the Harambees Stars inability to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations since 1992.

“Every time teams from West Africa take the lion’s share at the African Nations Cup and the World Cup; this must stop,” the ex-Chelsea star said.

“I say Harambee Stars has the capability to turn all this around in East Africa.

“The era of one-sided competition in Africa is long gone.”
