Manager of Arsenal Mikel Arteta has confirmed Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey will be available for the English Premier League clash against Sheffield United on Monday.
The 30 year old midfield gem has been on the sidelines since October 2023.
However he has regained fitness and will be included in the squad for the trip to Bramall Lane.
Arteta expressed confidence in Partey’s recovery progress, stating, “Thomas Partey should be part of the squad on Monday.” He further elaborated, mentioning Partey’s recent training sessions and the positive trajectory of his rehabilitation.
“He had a session before the last game, now he’s done two or three sessions. It’s progressing well,” he added.
Patey last played for Arsenal as a second-half substitute in their 1-0 victory over Manchester City and his return to the club will bolster the Gunners team in their upcoming games.
Partey has only played five games for Arsenal Football Club in the ongoing campaign in the English Premier League.
