Man United confirm 11 players will leave this summer

Manchester United has confirmed 11 players, among the notable first-team players, will leave the club this summer following the expiry of their contracts. 

This was made public on Friday when the club confirmed the list of retained players and those set to leave, in accordance with the Premier League directive. 

Edinson Cavani, Lee Grant, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Nemanja Matic, and Paul Pogba are among those leaving the club. 

In the Academy, five players will depart on 30 June, when their contracts are set to expire.

  • Reece Devine
  • Lee Grant
  • Jesse Lingard
  • Juan Mata
  • Nemanja Matic
  • Paul McShane
  • Paul Pogba
  • Connor Stanley
  • Paul Woolston 

Contract Offer:

Option Exercised:

Paul McShane will continue his coaching role with the Professional Development Phase following his retirement from playing.
