Malta Guinness WPL: Pearl Pia Ladies come from behind to beat Ashtown Ladies

Pearl pia ladies came from behind to win at home against Ashtown Ladies at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Josephine Adowaa opened the scoring in the 18th minute to end the first half in favor of Ashtown Ladies. Back from recess, Abdul Rahman Barikisu scored within two minutes to draw the home side level. Iddrisu Mariam put the host in the lead in the 50th minute whilst Barikisu scored a brace to give Pearl Pia Ladies the maximum points as the game ended 3:1.

Prisons Ladies played guest to Dreamz Ladies at the Bantama Astro Turf as the two sides shared the spoils in a tough encounter. The intensity of the game was high but both chances squandered the chances as the game ended in a goalless draw in Kumasi.

Defending Champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies will host Supreme Ladies at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Monday.
