Mahatma Otoo begins rehabilitation on injured thigh, to be out for three weeks

Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo has begun rehabilitation in the gym after he was told he requires two-three weeks to regain full fitness from a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old had to be replaced in Ghana’s squad for friendly matches against Senegal and Mali due to the injury.

Otoo’s fears were however allayed following thorough examination conducted on the injury.

Otoo played just a few minutes of Ghana’s campaign at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations where the Black Stars finished second to Cote d’Ivoire in Equatorial Guinea.
