League leaders, Tamale City drew 1-1 against Maana FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Maana FC scored the opener through Aziz Tariq Joe scored in the 52nd minute but Isaac Asumadu equalized for Tamale City in the 81st minute to help his side on top od the table in Zone One A. Mubarik Abdul Kadir of Tamale City was named th3 player of the match for his outstanding performance.
Elsewhere, Douglas Boateng netted the winning goal for Northern City in the 57th minute as they coasted to a 1-0 win over Techiman Heroes. Northern City are currently in 3rd place in Zone One A with 17 points.
Still in the Zone, Techiman Liberty recorded a 2-1 victory over bottom placed Berekum City to maintain their place in Zone 1B. Alhassan Osman scored the first goal for Techiman Liberty inside minutes. Shadrach Kofi Fosu got the second goal for Techiman Liberty in the 75th minute before Seth Oppong fired home from close range in the 90th minute to reduce the deficit for Berekum City.
