Lyon to re-sign Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal?

Lyon are attempting to bring Alexandre Lacazette back to the club on a free transfer this summer according to reports.

French outlet RMC Sport is reporting Moussa Dembele has been informed of the imminent arrival of a forward, which could change the ex-Celtic and Atletico Madrid striker’s plans, as he had initially intended to see out his contract with Lyon, which expires in June 2023.

Lacazette is said to be listening to approaches from Spain and England but is motivated by a move to Lyon despite the fact that they have failed to qualify for European football.

Inside the French side, certain employees believe that an agreement in principle may already have been reached with Lacazette.

The 31-year-old joined Arsenal from Lyon in the summer of 2017. He scored just six goals in 36 games for the Gunners this season, and his contract is due to expire at the end of this month.
