The three relegation spots in the Ghana Premier League have been confirmed following Accra Lions’ 2-0 defeat to Dreams FC.
Lions lost 2-0 on Sunday after a vapid second half performance as Dream tore them apart.
Their relegation means they join two other sides, Legon Cities and Nsoatreman in the Division One.
Despite the splurge of cash from the owners and the massive investment, Lions were unable to overcome relegation.
They sit 16th in the Ghana Premier League with 35 points.
Swedru All Blacks, Hohoe United and Eleven Wonders will replace the relegated sides.
