Former Bibiani Gold Stars gaffer Michael Osei has asked Ghanaians to lower their expectations on the Black Stars at the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations.
The West Africans are gunning for their fifth continental accolade after a 41-year drought.
Ghana is pitted in Group B with Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.
“Is good for our ambition to search for our next fifth Afcon trophy but we should lower our expectations because it won’t be easy at all,” He told Footballghana.com,
“We have seen many of the other countries are also more favourites.”
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, January 13 through to February 11, 2024.
