Lloyd-Addo Kuffour has completed a winter move to Berliner FC Dynamo as he returns to German football.

The German-born defender of Ghanaian heritage has signed a six-month contract with the Regionalliga Nordost club.

Kuffour joins as a free agent after parting ways with Austrian second-tier side SKU Amstetten.

The 23-year-old left-back only arrived in Austria last summer but has opted for a fresh challenge for the remainder of the season.

Berliner FC Dynamo confirmed the acquisition in an official statement released on the club’s media channels.

”Following the signing of Kevin Lebersorger (20) from LASK Linz, BFC Dynamo welcomes Lloyd-Addo Kuffour (23) as another new addition to its ranks.

“The former youth international received his footballing education at Hannover 96 and Borussia Dortmund and was most recently under contract with SKU Amstetten (Austrian Second Division). The new signing is a versatile player on the left wing and can be deployed in both defense and midfield.”

The club highlighted his strong developmental background and tactical flexibility on the left flank.

His previous experience in the German fourth tier was also cited as a key factor in the move.

Kuffour has represented Germany at the U15 and U16 levels during his youth career.

Despite that, his Ghanaian roots keep him eligible for a potential call-up to the Black Stars.
