Liverpool’s Firmino resumes training ahead of Tottenham clash

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed Roberto Firmino has resumed training ahead of the weekend’s clash.

Firmino picked up the foot injury in the final moments of the FA Cup semi-final win at the start of April, forcing him to miss the last five games.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, as cited by Anfield Watch’s Twitter account, Klopp gave a fitness update on Roberto Firmino ahead of tomorrow’s match at Anfield.

“I don’t know about Bobby, but he is back in training, so we have to make a decision. He hasn’t done a lot, he had to let it settle,” said Klopp.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Luis Diaz, and Diogo Jota have been heavily relied upon and now Firmino can look to play a significant part in the run-in as the Reds look to make history.
