Anfield will play hosts to one of the Premier League’s most famous fixtures as Liverpool and Leeds United do battle on Merseyside in the midst of worrying form for either side with Jesse Marsch’s men now moving into the relegation zone after a 3-2 loss to Fulham.
Despite the excellent start to the season for the Whites, they are now struggling tremendously in 2022/23 and a long battle in and around the relegation zone looks set to come for yet another season.

In fact, if Marsch can’t start to rack up the points again, he is likely to be another manager who faces the sack in this Premier League season.
The American did start off by winning two of the first games in the Premier League this season, and they were in the top half of the table up until the international break during September.
Now, as we approach November, they are in the relegation zone, and only ahead of Wolves and Nottingham Forest just below them by goals difference.
What’s more, Southampton, Leicester City and Aston Villa all above them have registered impressive results recently and they simply have to get a win before the World Cup break.
In a trip to Anfield, however, where Virgil van Dijk is still yet to lose in the Premier League in almost three years, it’s very doubtful they will get all three points here.
These two did, however, play out a 4-3 thriller when they met in the Premier League in 2020 for the first time in 15 years. Jack Harrison starred for Leeds that day, as Mohamed Salah got a hat-trick.
The Egyptian has struggled this season, but he got the winner against Manchester City two weeks back and a goal in midweek against Ajax in Amsterdam.
Liverpool would go on to smash Leeds 6-0 last season, however, beating them 3-0 at Elland Road too. Besides these two games and the 4-3 match in 2020, the only low-scoring affair between the two since Leeds came back into the top flight was the 1-1 draw at Elland Road in early 2021.
Jurgen Klopp, although not under any immediate pressure, is suffering his worst start to a league season with Liverpool so far.
In fact, the club are now eighth in the table and four points behind sixth-placed Manchester United and six adrift of fourth-placed Newcastle United.
The Reds are also now 10 behind City, despite beating them two weeks ago in a clinical display that saw the Liverpool defence pocket Erling Haaland with relative ease.
Forebet predicts a Liverpool win and over 2.5 goals.
