Heart of Lions coach Yusif Abubakar wants to further assess defender Dan Quaye before deciding on his future.
The 32-year-old right-back has been training with the Lions with a view of securing a long term deal.
The ex-Hearts of Oak defender wants to return to competitive football after leaving relegated Chinese side Beijing Waxy.
The ex-Berekum Chelsea trainer wants to further assess the player before deciding on whether to offer him a deal or not.
“He has been training with us and so I’m looking at him. It doesn’t mean that when you’re good today you will be the same tomorrow,†Abubakar said.
“We’re yet to see what he can offer and then we take it from there.
“He may be better than some of the current crop players or may not stand the test of time.
“So it all depends on how his training goes. He’s doing well at the moment but we have to wait a little longer to see how it goes.â€
