The Ghana Football Association (GFA) License D Coaching Course for an all female class will start on Monday, January 29 to Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram.
The 40 participants for the course are expected to report on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre Excellence at 4:00pm.
This is part of GFA’s mission to increase the number of female coaches to close the gender gap demonstrated in our football ecosystem with regard to coaching.
Some of the key training areas include the Ghana Football DNA, growth and development of young footballers, methods of coaching, and cardio vascular resuscitation/administration of first aid.
Participants will also be taken through a series of practical sessions. The sessions are led by selected CAF Coaching Instructors and FIFA Coach Educators under the leadership of the Acting Technical Director, Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah.
