Levante are looking to keep up their fight in the playoff positions of the Segunda Division this weekend when they meet with Malaga who are struggling way down in the relegation zone this campaign as the two battle at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.
Levante are in fourth ahead of this battle and have put up a fight all season long to bounce right back into La Liga. On the other hand, the club have managed to draw their past two games and it’s been almost a month since they tasted victory in Spain’s second tier when they defeated Albacete 3-2 in the league.

They did also manage to hammer Olot in the first round of the Copa del Rey shortly after that game, but in drawing with Las Palmas and Lugo 1-1, they have moved down the table slightly.
Levante are still only six points behind Deportivo Alaves in the league table with them having won two fewer games as a result of the recent draws.
It also means Levante have drawn the same amount of games as the league leaders and are heading into this game knowing that a victory could send them into second, should Las Palmas and Burgos lose.
With Levante continuing to impress and challenge for promotion, you have to head back to early October to see their last loss in all competitions as Racing managed to steal all three points away from home.
This does now mean the club have managed to put on record a nine-game unbeaten run, which no side other than the league leaders can match in the Segunda Division.
As for Malaga, it has been one of their worst seasons in history. In fact, just under a decade on from playing Champions League football, the club are now staring in the face of a long relegation battle and the potential to drop into the third tier.
Malaga have lost nine games so far this campaign, with only Ibiza just below them in last place losing more. They have also won an alarming three games from 17 outings so far.
Levante are likely to get the win here with Malaga experiencing one of their worst seasons in Segunda Division history. Levante are still confident in achieving promotion this season and this will be win number eight of the season for them.
Forebet predicts a home win and for the game to see under 2.5 goals.
