Upon celebrating his 25th birthday, Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus has charged his Spurs teammates to secure a win against Newcastle in their pre season tie.
Spurs have enjoyed a good run out in the lead up to the return of the Premier League, recording a win against Reading in the warm up game whilst drawing two games against Luton and Wycombe.
The most notable result for the reigning Europa League champions in pre season came when they pipped North London rivals Arsenal to a 1-0 win.
The results have put Spurs in a driving position with two wins and two draws ahead of their friendly tie against Newcastle.
“Thank you all for the wish. Let’s win tomorrow [against Newcastle], Kudus told his teammates, who celebrated the midfielder’s birthday with a cake.
Kudus has yet to score for Spurs but has shown glimpses of brilliance.
