Lesotho will be missing their two key players Litsepe Marabe and Bokang Mothoana on Sunday when they host Ghana in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.
The absence of the two key players for Lesotho is a massive confidence boost for the Black Stars who are seeking victory in Maseru to boost their World Cup qualification chances.
Tunisia-based Mothoana, who is regarded as the country’s best player, has been ruled out of the must-win match for the Black Stars because of a knee injury.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who plays for US Monastir, is the playmaker for the Crocodiles leaving them struggling to find a replacement against a talent-laden Ghana side.
He is the only player plying his trade in a tough league abroad and one of the few playing abroad.
Also missing the game at the Setsoto Stadium is Marabe who is seen as the rising star in Lesotho football having chalked important feats recently.
The gifted winger scored the all important goal that helped Lesotho hold Zambia to a 1-1 draw in the first leg match played at Setsoto Stadium in March.
